My Summary of the Book "Eragon"
When young Eragon finds a strange stone in the woods, he takes it home and discovers that it's not a stone at all. It's an egg. A dragon's egg. Nobody thought dragons existed anymore. If nobody thinks they exist anymore, why is he hiding the dragon egg? Will he become one of the legendary dragon riders that disappeared two hundred years ago? What would it mean for Aglaesia if he became a dragon rider? I liked this book, it kept me reading because there was no telling what was going to happen to Eragon next.
My Summary of "Civil War on Sunday"
Jack and Annie, the two main characters, are once again going back in time in the Magic Treehouse; this time to the Civil War.
Before going there, the enchantress Morgan sent them a strange message, warning that Camelot is in trouble. She also says that in order to save it, they need to find these kinds of writing: "something to follow,
something to send, something to learn, and something to lend."
Will they find the writing in the Civil War era? How will things turn out? Read the book to find out for yourself.
My Summary of the Book:Surviving the Applewhites
When 13-year-old delinquent Jake Semple is kicked out of every school in his home state, he expects to go to Juvenile Hall, the school for bad kids. Instead he ends up with the wackiest homeschooling people ever; the Applewhites. Each member of the family is eccentric, scatterbrained, and most of all, every single one of them loves art, except one. E.D. is the odd one out, she loves things organized, her family is not.
It just so happens, she and Jake will be paired up for the first ever actual class in the Applewhite school. To top it off, the only thing they have in common is their age, and that they both want to get through the families' crazy ideas.
So what do think would happen if a play, directed by Randolph Applewhite, would end up starring Jake as one of the lead roles? Read the book and find out for yourself.
